I really enjoyed my stay as it placed me just a few steps from the lively marche soumbedioune and a short walk from the beautiful Grand Mosque of Dakar, making it easy to soak in the local culture and sights.

Le Djoloff boasts a beautiful architectural design, and I enjoyed relaxing evenings on the rooftop terrace with stunning sea views. The multi-level restaurant served creative tapas that tantalized my taste buds. truly a highlight of my stay. My room was comfortable with consistent hot showers and quick WiFi, a must in today's world. The friendly team was always available, offering tips and assistance whenever I needed. However, the noise insulation left a bit to be desired, and I could hear conversations in the hallway clearly. Additionally, I felt breakfast options could be more varied, as some days it felt repetitive. Despite these minor inconveniences, I had a lovely time immersing myself in the local culture and exploring the nearby Soumbédioune Fish Market.

I had a great 2-night stay as a solo traveler. The Superior Double Room was spacious and had a large, comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with tons of gluten-free options. I loved kicking back on the rooftop, enjoying views and relaxing with Netflix after a busy day. 🍽️

However, the bathroom could be cleaner and the WiFi in the room was a bit inconsistent, which made working remotely a challenge.

The artsy vibe of the rooftop area, adorned with plants, created a relaxing atmosphere, complemented by a diverse breakfast buffet featuring gluten-free options. The staff were incredibly kind, and the chef showcased excellent skills with local dishes. However, the WiFi in the room was unreliable, forcing me to use the common areas. Additionally, my room had limited hot water for part of my stay, which was disappointing.

This place was a great fit for a break on my long journey in Dakar and offered good value for price. The staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help with anything I needed, making my stay more enjoyable. Make sure to check the restaurant's opening hours for meals since they can be limited at times.
